Authentic early 20th century German stoneware beer stein from the famed Royal Hofbräuhaus München. This classic 1-liter stein features the iconic crowned HB monogram in cobalt blue and retains its original pewter lid embossed "Kgl. Hof-Bräuhaus München."

Inside the lid is an original period inscription reading:

"Gekauft laut Urkunde – 17. VI. 1916"

("Purchased according to certificate – June 17, 1916.")

The lid is also engraved with the number 9033, likely identifying the original owner or storage number used at the Hofbräuhaus in Munich. These personalized engravings add historical interest and collector appeal.
